2026 SUMMER STEAM PROGRAMS
STARBASE Fort Wayne is excited to offer free summer programs! Please see below for the dates and a description of each program.

The 2026 summer camp registration is now closed. Our office manager will be reaching out regarding camp registrations.

Please note, due to limited space, registering a student for camp does not guarantee a camp placement. We will be processing all student registrations on a first come, first served basis. Campers may not be registered for a camp they previously attended and they can only register for one camp per summer.

Get ready to explore the great outdoors through the lens of a scientist, artist, and engineer! This immersive 4-day summer camp is designed specifically for rising 3rd and 4th graders who love to discover, build, and create.
Throughout the week, students will step into the role of field researchers, keeping detailed records of their observations, blueprints, and artistic inspirations in a personal field journal. Working in small collaborative teams, campers will bridge the gap between the natural world and modern technology. Every day is a hands-on journey into the heart of STEAM.

Are you ready to lead your crew through the journey of a lifetime? In this high-stakes adventure, campers work in collaborative crews to decipher codes and conquer pulse-pounding survival challenges that bridge the gap between myth and reality.
This mission demands a total mastery of STEAM. Campers overcome unpredictable environments by coding and deploying robots to navigate through treacherous terrains to conquer land, water, and air.
The map is in your hands. Will you answer the call?

Our Mars Colony camp is designed to have students work in small teams to simulate the assembly and operation of a permanent colony on Mars. Students will get to put their imagination to work in designing their Mars base, launching the pieces, guiding them to the correct location, and landing them safely on the surface of the planet in an intense board game-like experience. Campers will participate in real world challenges that will have direct impact upon events within the game. This camp is truly out of this world!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to enter the cryptic world of a secret agent! Each day new campers will be taking part in top secret briefings, exploring new tech gadgets, breaking codes, and completing sleuth-based training missions. If you are ready to take your investigative skills to the next level, join our ranks today!
