FORT WAYNE
STARBASE Indiana-Fort Wayne was founded at the 122nd Fighter Wing, Fort Wayne Air National Guard Base, Indiana by Col David Augustine (Ret). We welcomed our first class on February 14, 2012, and have been proudly serving the teachers and youth of Northeast Indiana ever since. The 122nd Fighter Wing flies the A-10 Thunderbolt II out of the Air National Guard Base in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
SUMMER CAMP 2024
DoD STARBASE Indiana - Fort Wayne is proud to offer four separate weeks of 4-day camps for incoming 5th through incoming 8th graders. Our STEAM camps this summer will be the following options:

MARS COLONY 4-day Camps:
May 28th - May 31st or June 3rd-6th
STARBASE's Mars Colony camp is designed for students who enjoy board games and would love to take part in an intense board game experience over the course of four days. Our Mars Colony camp is designed to have students work in small teams to simulate the assembly and operation of a permanent colony on Mars. Students will get to put their imagination to work in designing their Mars base, launching the pieces, guiding them to the correct location, and landing them safely on the surface of the planet in an intense board game-like experience. Campers will participate in real world challenges that will have direct impact upon events within the game. This camp is truly out of this world.

Intro to Lego Engineering:
June 10th - 13th or June 17th - 20th
Build your coding skills with the Lego Spike Prime Robot! We will spend the week learning the basics of scratch coding, using building plans to assemble robots with different tools, and applying codes to complete various tasks. By working together in groups on the same task, we will hone our collaboration and trouble shooting skills to find multiple solutions to the problem as a team. At the end of the week, we will put our creativity and problem-solving skills to the test to become the ultimate “Task Master Team” and take home the grand prize!

Please note that due to limited space that registering for a camp does not guarantee a spot in our camps, and that we will still be processing the registrations on a first come, first served basis. Campers may not register for a camp they attended in previous years.
