STARBASE South Bend: Collaborative STEM Paterner
Our mission is to ignite curiosity, spark innovation, and cultivate a lifelong passion for learning in students from 5th through 8th grade. Through partnerships with schools, corporations, the greater Michiana community, and the Indiana National Guard, we empower students to bridge the gap between understanding and application. At STARBASE, scientific concepts come to life through hands-on experiences that connect classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.

Moving the Need in Math
At STARBASE, we launch more than lessons—we ignite lifelong learning adventures with a focus on math excellence. Where hands-on exploration meets critical thinking, transforming math from routine to remarkable. From Newton's Laws to nanotechnology, from mastering metrics or conquering geometry, we make math engaging and accessible. We foster teamwork, inspiring young learners to collaborate and help each other grow in knowledge.
Student Growth Data
We're not just sparking curiosity—we're powering a STEAM revolution with a focus on teamwork and student growth!
Upon arrival, students typically show a 33% grasp of primary STEM concepts. By the end of their journey with us, they skyrocket to 76% proficiency—an astronomical increase of 127%!

STARBASE South Bend Outreach
We invite schools and organizations to partner with us in expanding STEM outreach and educational opportunities.
Whether it's joint workshops, collaborative projects, or special events, we are excited to work together to inspire and educate our future innovators.

Innovator Academy for 7th and 8th Graders: Dive deeper into STEM with a Health Science & Biology career-focused program. Ideal for those looking to get a head start on future career paths.
